Grow Maternity Underwear Lda. (hereinafter referred to as “Grow Maternity”) is a company registered in Lisbon that sells sustainable maternity underwear. 

Grow Maternity respects your privacy and the right to control your personal data. Our guiding principles are simple. We will be open to inform you about what data we collect and why. 

This policy describes the personal information we collect about you, why we collect it, how we use it, and when we share it with third parties. Our policy also describes the choices you can make about how we collect and use certain pieces of that information. The notice also describes the measures we take to protect the security of the personal information. We also tell you how you can reach us to ask us to (i) access, change or not use the personal information you have provided to us, (ii) withdraw any consent you previously provided to us, (iii) tell us to refrain from communicating with you about our products or services, and (iv) answer anyquestions you may have about our privacy practices. If our information practices change, we will post an updated policy on our website. You can tell if the policy has changed by checking the revision date that appears on this policy.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we always assume that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a different reason, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we request information such as your name, billing and shipping address, telephone number, email address and payment card information in order to process your purchase, confirm your order and ship the items to you. If you elect to be added to our email list, we may use your contact information to communicate with you about our products, services and promotions.

That information is collected so we can process and fulfil your order plus send you all necessary information including shipping information and the status of your order

You have the opportunity to create a personal shopping account with Grow Maternity, which allows you to shop faster and easier. Using a user name and a password of your choice, you may access your account online at any time to add, delete, or change information. In creating this account, you authorize Grow Maternity to store your name and email address. Should you elect to do so, you may also include in your “My Account” your telephone number, payment card information, and shipping and billing addresses. If you choose to include such additional information then you are also authorizing Grow Maternity to store such information until such time you elect to change or delete it. 

When you create an account with us, you will be given the option to be added to the Grow Maternity email list. Whether or not you select this option, your personal information will never be shared with or sold to anyone. Subscriptions to the email list can be cancelled at any time. To be removed from our email list, please email us at hello@growmaternity.com and include your name and the address in the message, or click the unsubscribe button found at the bottom of the emails we send you.

Payments

Payment information, like credit card numbers, is processed by Stripe, a PCI certified payment service which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Third-Party Services 

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers. Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

Security 

User data will not be retained beyond the period strictly necessary for the purposes set out herein and in accordance with applicable regulations and laws.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Cookies

“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier.

When browsing our website, information relating to the navigation of the user's terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) may be saved through the use of Cookies. A Cookie allows tracking the browsing or analyzing user behavior, including but not limited to:

   - measuring the number of visitors to our website, as well as their content;
   - saving customer account information when the user is logged in;
   - saving the shopping cart for 30 minutes;customizing the display of content accessible to the user.

Disclosure 

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

How To Withdraw Consent

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.
